  Just get started   I was talking to my good friend, I call him big bro, and we were talking about exercising.  He was telling me that he walks so many miles a day to get his exercise and I told him I needed to be like him. He said “ the key is to just get started”. I like that, it make since.  But why did God show me somthing in those few words. We often say that we want to do a work for God. But in the same breath, we make every excuse we can think of as to why we have not done it or even started the task that God has given us.  Just like us wanting to do something meaningful in our lives and we do it, we have to have that same attitude toward our walk with God.  2 Corinthians 5:7 : "For we walk by faith, not by sight" (KJV) We may not know where God is leading us. It is time for us to stop talking about what we are going to do for God, and just do it! For over a year, God has been dealing with me on several things that he has placed in my life to do. And for over a year, I would start it, then I would stop it, then I would start it again, then I would stop it..again. This has become a cycle of stopping and starting things that God has placed in my life to do. But why am I stuck in this continuous cycle you may ask. Well it is simple. See, For the longest time, I have let things come in the way of me doing what God has placed in my  life to do.  See, I was letting fear control me.
